IN OREGON

There are many gluten-free friendly restaurants across the Pacific Northwest.

Below is a list of restaurants I’ve dined at that I considered to have a good number of gluten-free dishes as well as awareness in their kitchens about how to prepare safe foods for GF diners.

El Sancho Taco Shop

The majority of items are gluten free and the tortillas are always fried in a dedicated fryer. Sometimes they may have a special containing gluten, otherwise all of the street tacos, plates, tamales, tostadas, margaritas and more are GF!

Marco Polo Global Restaurant

Marco Polo has a separate GF menu and prep space for GF food. Asian and European dishes such as pasta.

Public Coast Brewing Co.

Public Coast has a significant number of GF dishes including a GF fryer where you can order fish and chips! Located in Cannon Beach, they also have a fantastic patio, great for outdoor dining on dry days.

Located at The Yard Food Park in Salem, the only gluten on this cart’s menu is the croutons on the caesar salad. Choose from baked avocados, salads, tamales, bowls and daily specials.

Everything is GF other than a select few menu items at this higher-end sushi restaurant. Tamari is given to all guests rather than soy sauce, the fryer is GF (tempura!), and all but one sushi rolls are GF.
